Dr. Rebecca Lang is a FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration)–certified medical examiner and is fully licensed to perform the physical examinations required to obtain or maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). DOT physicals at Flourish Family Medicine are conducted in accordance with federal guidelines and completed thoroughly to support timely certification.

DOT Physicals

Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals at Flourish Family Medicine are performed by certified medical examiners in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Exams are completed thoroughly and efficiently, with attention to documentation requirements to help minimize delays in certification.

To ensure your DOT physical can be completed as smoothly as possible, please bring the following items to your appointment. Additional documentation may be required depending on your medical history and findings during the exam.

Required for all DOT physicals:
  • Valid government-issued photo ID
  • Glasses, contact lenses, or hearing aids if used
  • A list of current medications (including dosages and prescribing provider)

DOT physicals are conducted in a professional, organized setting and typically take 30–60 minutes, depending on medical history and required documentation. Our team will review your information, perform the required examination, and discuss next steps if additional documentation is needed.

Please note that additional testing, documentation, or follow-up may be required based on your medical history or findings during the exam. These determinations are made during the examination in accordance with FMCSA guidelines.
